Legal Bases & Purposes of Data Processing

The legal basis for the processing of personal data is generally – unless more specific legal provisions apply – Art. 6 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The following options are applicable:

Access Data / Server Log Files

We, the website operator or page provider, collect data on accesses to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) and store these as "server log files" on the website's server. The following data is recorded:

Server log files are stored for a maximum of 180 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, for example to be able to investigate cases of misuse. If data must be retained for evidentiary purposes, it is exempt from deletion until the incident has been definitively resolved.

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. The user therefore has no right to object.

Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser's address bar ("https://" and padlock symbol).
